About Me

I’m a writer, translator, baker and American living in Seoul. I previously worked as a magazine editor and wrote a food column here in Korea, and I currently write for a music history-based radio program and run a small baking studio called River North, which you can learn more about by clicking the link in the top menu. I live in an old house — you guessed it — just north of the river, which I visit nearly every day with my beagle, Charlie.
